Good morning everyone! Let’s start off the day with learning a new word! 😃 Today’s word id definitely interesting!

 

Word of the day for May 7 2017 is

The sentence for today is: The light flowed around her as if it were an oleaginous substance before beginning to take shape before her.

She stood up to him lion-hearted, unable to handle the verbal abuse for another minute.

“You’re like a diacritic, little girl,” He said. “No one bothers to understand you.”

“I beg to differ. I’m floriferous. Everyone adores me for both my inner and outer beauty. You? I feel sorry for you due to your lack of both,” She said more calmly than she had expected.

He stared at her dumbfounded.

“You attempt to tear down others; you try to dox others,” She continued. “I will not let someone like you continue to belittle me.”

He had a minatory expression as he headed towards her.

Trembling as he got closer, she stepped back just as a coruscant light flew into the air between them.

It was as if the light was giving her an abrazo and filling her with comfort.

The comfort reminded her of her childhood friend, the daughter of her mother’s milliner.

The light flowed around her as if it were an oleaginous substance before beginning to take shape before her.

Today’s word was definitely interesting! The vocabulary gods have started throwing words at me that are making this story slightly harder. Not awfully harder, but a little. They’re challenging me! The word of the day for May 6, 2017 is:

A person who designs, makes, or sells hats for women

Well, I honestly didnt expect a word of spanish origin! But i like it! I dont like how the pronunciation bit looks though. I feel it should be just an O at the end, not thaw. Am i wrong? Any followers who know the word?? Drop a comment and let me know!

Today’s expansion on the story is:

Trembling as he got closer, she stepped back just as a coruscant light flew into the air between them.

So I want to first say that Microsoft Word needs to update their dictionary! Today’s word had that annoying little red line under it as Word freaked out. Which is annoying, because them I’m second guessing my typing even though I can see I’ve typed it right!!! And on top of that, the word is in the dictionary…

But, that’s besides the point! Let me know in the comments what you’re thinking about the progress of this section so far!

Time for the word of the day again!!! I’ll have to admit; these words are aligning with my purpose quite nicely but today’s word was a little difficult to figure out how to incorporate it while still making sense!

Menacing; threatening.

Whelp, after starting dumbfounded at this word for about two hours I don’t understand why I had such a hard time putting it into a sentence that would fit into the story. Reason 61651651 why I should be doing this exercise with you guys! 😊

Thank the vocabulary gods for the good luck I’ve had with these daily words! The story is unfolding quite nicely if I do say so myself! Guess my worries yesterday about things turning south wasn’t anything more than just me worrying over nothing! Today’s word was a little difficult to see how to incorporate it, but I did it! Hello again! Well, as I promised I am now officially caught up once this post is published!

So, the word of the day for May 1, 2017 is:

The sentence is:
